Kathryn's interest in puppets began when she was about ten when her grandmother in England
sent her family Pelham puppets for Christmas.  In time these became the start of her collection.

Since she was about thirty, she has avidly added to her collection, mostly acquiring puppets she
didn't already have but sometimes she hasn't been able to resist getting ones she already had.

Most of her "new" puppets have been bought online, although sometimes people who know she
collects Pelham puppets have told her of ones being sold in antique shops across the country, etc.

As a collector she enjoys their handmade quality and fabulous detail.   But she has even more
fun having them out of their boxes and on the stage, performing for young and old alike.
